Birding at The Knoll
The Knoll has a wonderful bird list which includes the super colourful Turacos, the White Star Robin, Bush Blackcap, Lemon Doves, five species of cuckoo and the Scaly Throated Honeyguide, to name a few. Come and see how many you can spot during your visit.
Trails in the Midlands
The Knoll has a well maintained 5km trail located within the fenced-off property. MTB Rides and trail runs start straight out of our gate and take you through routes around Hilton and Cedara. Consider using The Knoll as a base from which to explore the world-renowned Karkloof trails or Cascade MTB Park, both less than 30minutes away.
Meander through the Midlands
Take a drive through one of the country's most beautiful areas, the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. Pass by dramatic farmland and stop off to experience artisanal craft products such as beer, wine, cheese and leatherwork, to name a few. Great food and coffee culture and a blossoming Live music scene roundup some of the not to be missed experiences in this region.
